Established in January 2005 DM Orthotics Ltd are manufacturers of specific custom made soft goods. The company, located in a modern purpose built factory in Redruth Cornwall United Kingdom, is able to combine tradition and experience with state of the art CADCAM design and technology, as well as lean manufacturing capabilities, to ensure rapid lead time of the Orthopaedic soft goods, DMO and corrective burns range it manufactures.

The highly qualified and skilled workforce are able to use their many years combined experience to ensure the manufacture of high quality soft goods. Their dedication to innovation and excellence ensures quality without compromise.

The company also has a committed Research and Development Team who in collaboration with universities and research expertise guarantees continual development of new products and corresponding provision of scientific papers to ensure that clinicians can be confident of up to date evidence based practice. MD Martin Matthews has written several research papers with colleagues which have been published in recent years which support the use of the products. The latest evidence was presented at the ISPO conference in Liepzig May 2010 where there was be the first ever symposium on dynamic elastomeric fabric orthoses.

Continual research and development into Dynamic Movement Orthoses (DMO) has driven the on going expansion of the company and its product range resulting in a move to larger purpose built premises within Redruth in December 2009. This ensured the specialised workforce could continue to work in the new purpose facility with minimal disruption to the customer.
